Spiderman 3
Our entire work department was treated to a Friday afternoon showing of Spiderman 3. i think at least 6 of the 20 theater cineplex was showing this movie, and our auditorium was completely packed at 1:30pm. There were a lot of young kids in the audience too… I guess this is one of those movies worth skipping school for.
When the ad for spiderman 3 first came out, I was surprised by how many pseudo main characters were featured in this sequel, well… the more the merrier I suppose.
In this Spiderman, I think they downplayed MJ’s looks more with the exception of her opening scene (perhaps to make way for their 2nd leading lady in this feature??). I also had no idea that Bryce Dallas Howard (whom I’d seen in M. Knight’s The Villager was the daughter of the infamous Ron Howard). I also caught a cameo of Stan Lee as a street pedestrian saying to Peter Parker… “I guess one person can make a difference”. Anyways, the movie was definitely entertaining. I can’t wait till the rest of the summer movies start coming to theaters. I’ve already promised I’d take the kids to see “Ratatouille” when it comes out end of June.
