It’s a small world after all

I know, cheesey disney reference.
Anyways, my parents and younger sister just returned from a 2-week tour of China, and on the trip, they were accompanied by those from Canada, South America, LA, the east cost and a nice Mother/Daughter pair from San Francisco traveling together. Little did they know (until they got to talking later) that the daughter worked at my company too. And when my mom asked whether she knew me by name… she said that the name sounded familiar for some reason, but she wasn’t quite sure. You figure with so many employees in a large company… what are the chances that she’d be someone I know. Well, as it turns out I did know the daughter (though not very well) because she left my current group just about the time I joined to become a part of our company’s legal team in the “executive building”. Interesting huh? Kinda reminds me of that 7-degrees of seperation thingamajig.
