I know. I feel the same way, but boy... convincing Alex of anything has never been an easy task. Well, according to "The Secret" as quoted from Loanne/Oprah, the law of attraction says to focus on and be grateful for what you have instead of dwelling on the stuff you don't want in your life. Great tips for living a more peaceful life and a happier one supposedly. Thanks for sharing your experience too.

I truly think it's healthy to talk about work since that's what you do most of the time during the day. And especially when you are stressed or upset at work, if you don't talk about it to your husband, how will he know or understand for example why you are in a bad mood that evening ...
Brad always talk about work to me (not that I always understand all the technical stuff he said, but at least I listen) and of course I talk about my "work" too. :) Sometimes I even ask him how was his work. The kids always interrupt and I will have to tell them to let Mommy and Daddy talk too. If couples always just talk about kids, they will have nothing to talk about when the kids grow up and leave home ... just my 2 cents!
