Holiday Feast & Movie

Our 2006 holiday celebration at work got postponed till January 5th of 2007 luckily so I was able to join everyone for the celebrating. We lunched at the Left Bank Restaurant in Santana Row and enjoyed a meal of Escargots, Moule Frites, Pineapple Juice (from concentrate unfortunately), a couple sips of merlot, and a dessert fondue. It was delicious even though it still pales in comparison to the real stuff in gay paris, but who would complain. After lunch, we took in a Chinese movie, The Curse of the Golden Flower, at the Cineart complex across the street. This movie featured Chow Yun-Fat and Gong Li in the starring roles, and was subtitled in English. Unfortunately, our meal took so long so we missed a good portion of the beginning, but the twists and turns of the movie was kind of interesting though.
