It’s a rare treat to have my parents in town so today Alex babysat the kids for me at home while I took my parents out for an excursion at Santana Row. My dad used to take us for high tea at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Hong Kong, so I decided to take him and my mom to Lisa’s Tea Treasures for a similar outing. Of course, this setting is very different from that of a high-end hotel, but the place is quaint and selection of foods delectable. After our pleasant meal, we meandered along the street and did some window shopping. My parents have been so busy since arriving in the bay area with not much time to themselves so this was a nice change of pace for them. Monday is my dad’s birthday so I want to wish him a very happy birthday from me along with the rest of our gang!
