Wesley has been practicing slides on our wooden floors (similar to a slide into homebase) these past weeks in both back and side positions. I saw Nicholas do that on the concrete floor at school too, but after I scolded him about it for ruining his expensive uniform pants, this activity subsided soon after. I’ve also scolded Wesley about the danger of him getting a concussion from slipping out of control, but every now and then, he’d still sneak one in behind my back (with Nicholas reporting back to us on this delinquent behavior). Thankfully I saw less of it these last couple days at home so at least he seems to be getting over the novelty of “the slide”.
