Nicholas presented his science fair project along with his group this afternoon.  Their study was on roses and carnations.  Each child remembered a line or two of their skit to recite in front of class. Nicholas did a good job projecting his voice across the room and remembered his lines perfectly.  However, he did heave several heavy sighs before and after his part which made him look so very serious. Since today was Chinese New Year’s day, I decided to take him out of school early back to the office with me. He only had minimal homework on this day so he finished it in a snap. He was very well-behaved considering that people kept coming into my office for work discussions. Oops… didn’t know this afternoon was going to end up being one of those days, but at least my kids aren’t frequent visitor there or else I’d probably be in more serious trouble with the boss.
