Pumpkin Patch

We visited a local pumpkin patch today and the kids got to enjoy a half hour of fun on the inflatables they had set up in the middle of the patch. At first, Nicholas wanted to go on the big slide, but hesitated when he saw so many big kids kamakaze-ing down the slide so they opted for a medium-sized jumphouse instead. This one had a little slide between the top and bottom parts, and the kids had a lot of fun jumping to their hearts’ content (something we always scolded them for at home when they used our bed as a trampoline). Then just minutes before our time was up, they finally got up the courage to try out the big slide (this was after all the big kids have gone). They each went on it twice (wesley backwards facing) since that was all we had time for in the end. Anyways, we walked away with 2 baby pumpkins and 2 big smiles.

  1. I think we went to the same one but we went on Sunday. Kyle LOVED the big slide and went on it at least a dozen times. :) I told Brad maybe we should do that for his next birthday, and he said “yeah, doing this when it’s 90 degree out there?” I guess he was right - for once! :)
