Golfland

While Wesley was away at his friend’s birthday, Nicholas and I along with Aunt Julia went to Golfland instead. We played 18 holes of miniature golf and played 60 tokens worth of games in their arcade before heading out to dinner at one of our favorite homestyle Persian restaurant: Chelokababi.

Golfland - Nicholas had a lot of fun trying to putt except he kept trying to swing his club like he was at a driving range. No wonder they had signs everywhere reminding people to swing no higher than the knees. Nicholas did very well considering his age, and he is definitely better than I am in putting that’s for sure. The lines unfortunately got kinda long so we ended up chatting almost more with the people behind us than amongst ourselves.

Arcade - Julia and I tested the quickness of our feet on their dance machines, and it was definitely a lot of fun. but either I’m completely out of shape or just not coordinated enough to keep up with the routines cause I failed miserably even at the basic level. You’re right Loanne, I can definitely see how a person can loose 10+ pounds just from playing on these dance machines at home.

Chelokababi Restaurant - MMmmmmmm…. well this is only the 2nd Middle Eastern restaurant I’ve dined at over the years thanks to the introduction by Julia, but the food is always delicious here just the way I remember it. The location is definitely obscure but the food and ambience is nice. They’ve got interesting desserts too.
