Disney on Ice

We picked up the kids from school today and headed straight to the ice show at 7:30pm. This is probably the first time we did a weeknight stint just to try out and it’ll probably be our last until the kids are a little older (It just got way to tiring for our kids after a long day at school). The show consisted of 4 stories: Peter Pan, 101 Dalmation, Little Mermaid, and Lilo & Stitch. The Peter Pan one was nice, the 101 Dalmation was alright, the Little Mermaid one was the best (perhaps for obvious reasons), and the Lilo & Stitch one was just mediocre for me probably cuz that is one the few Disney Movies I never really cared for…. the only part I truly enjoyed was the Elvis songs Stitch takes a liking to. I’m probably the odd one out on this front, but everyone’s entitled to their likes and dislikes right? We grabbed a quick bite to eat at the arena, and then made our way down to our seats. It actually shocked me to see that the entire stadium was packed with families of young kids even younger than ours on a weekday night. One day… we’ll try and get front row seats for an ice show just because it’d be interesting for once to be close to the action.

When they are older, it’s worse since they will have a lot more homework & tests during the week! Some things get easier; others get harder!
Same here, I never care for Lilo and Stitch.
