Disney on ice: 3 Jungle Adventures
This afternoon we saw an ice show combining the “The Jungle Book”, “Tarzan”, and “The Lion King” stories into one big Jungle Adventure. This show was no match for the spectacular ‘Disney’s 100 Years of Magic’ ice show we saw last year, but we were pleasantly surprised. The kids thought it was pretty cool to see tarzan swing over the heads of audience members, and overall it was pretty good since the kids were able to follow the story lines for each part. The skaters did some spectacular stunts in the air and on the swinging vines over the ice. And Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald all skated out in their safari gear towards the end of the show so that was a nice wrapup (Can’t deny disney fans their Mickey and Minnie!
). We were seated in the elevated floor seats (a.k.a. extended floor bleachers with fold out chairs that “snaps close” almost on cue as food and other misc. items are place on top of them) but it wasn’t quite steep enough for the kids to see over the adults heads, so Alex and I had each kid propped on our knees the whole time. Nicholas walked away with a huge Lion King snow cone mug that he shared with mommy and Wesley during the show. All-in-all, it was a fun time for all.
