We were invited to a Chuck E. Cheese party today for Nicholas’ friend Tristan. It was definitely exciting and action packed for the kids, and they just couldn’t get enough of all the fun and games. I recall the first time Nicholas saw Chuck E. Cheese, he was just 10 months old or so…. and he was pretty frightened of the fur-clad fella. But I guess all’s forgotten now.
Once the lunch/cake was over, the kids made a beeline for the play area. Wesley played lots of video games with dad, while Nicholas and I partook in traditional favorites. Before we left, the kids got their last thrill by feeding the ticket counter with all the strips they’ve won. Nicholas enjoyed the party so much that he specifically requested that we celebrate his 6th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese (we told him already that we had other plans for his 5th).
