This is what i hear from Nicholas every morning as I’m getting ready for work. I guess he’s very conscious about other kids seeing him with hair sticking up. Usually I’ll wet his hair a bit with a comb and try to blow dry it a little, but nothing really helps because he’s got really coarse hair. Then I just tell him to wear his hat in the car so by the time he gets to school, his hair will be flattened out. Sometimes when I get busy and forget to brush down his hair, he’ll basically drench the top of his head with water and it would look silly as heck.
