After almost a year of being wait-listed at the school for which we initially applied, Alex finally got a call yesterday from them informing us that both kids have been accepted for the Fall, 2007 school year. What does this mean for us? An easier daily commute between home, work, and school. Thank goodness! Though I’ll miss its proximity to Valley Fair, Westgate Mall, Tony Roma’s, Applebee’s, and most importantly the Mitsuwa shopping center. I remember driving from miles away some 10+ years ago just to shop there (it was a Yaohan back then). Now I’ll have to find other places to buy my Japanese goodies.
