When you’re raising more than one kid…

Siblings-Best Friends and Worst Enemies:What Can Parents Do?
Bickering among siblings is high on the list of what sends normally tolerant parents right over the edge. “Stop it!” “Leave her alone!” “You’re supposed to be taking care of your brother!” For those of us with siblings, it is easy to forget that we, too, used to […]

Allergy Test Results

We’ve always known since Nicholas has his first food-related allergy attack from eating some variety of Indian Pastries during a Diwali celebration that we were gonna have to be careful with the foods that we give him to try. He was just about 2 years old when this happened and I still remember how swelled […]

Potty Trained

Wesley is officially potty trained now by my definition. He goes to the bathroom on his own any time he needs to without asking us for help. This is great since he will be transitioning to Preschool in mid-April. I can’t believe our family will be finally diaper/pull-up free. Yeah!!

Peter Pan (2003)

While Wesley was napping in the afternoon yesterday at home, Nicholas and I watched Peter Pan together to pass the time. March Sickness

Nicholas has been sick twice this month already, Wesley is on his 2nd bout, and Grace just started on her first this past weekend. We have relied on the in-laws […]

Anyways, this morning’s music brought back […]

Kim Chee

After having enjoyed some Kim Chee at Simon/Yuie’s a few weekends back, Alex and I have been contemplating where to buy good Kim Chee. Of course it’ll be hard to match that which was made personally by Simon’s mom, but I’m sure there’s gotta be some good varieties out there for us to try. We […]

Kids priced out of Preschool

Source of article here.
Anita Singh and her husband Maunz Naylin stretch their budget every month, at times dipping into savings, to pay for private preschool for their 5-year-old son, Arthur.
Tuition at the Challenger Preschool in Sunnyvale, where Arthur spends weekday mornings, is $632 a month, or $6,320 a year for the 10-month program.
That’s almost […]
